Struggle For Smarts? How Eastern And Western Cultures Tackle Learning

MID SEMESTER REFLECTION

It is middle of the semester and almost time for your first 9 weeks report card to be submitted. For this weeks blog I want you to reflect on your work thus far by answering the questions below honestly:

1. How do you feel about your performances in all your classes? List each class, then write 2 to 5 sentence reflection on how you feel you have been doing in this class. Discuss study habits, testing habits, and class participation.

2. What is your weakest class? How can you improve in this class?

3. How important is making an A in a class to you? Do you try to get all A's?  Do you feel like you are capable of getting all A's?

4. How do you feel about getting a D in a class?

5. Describe your most challenging or  frustrating moment so far this semester in one of your classes and how you overcame it.

An expectation of WECHS is for students to form and participate in study groups on their own. A part of your grade in SOAR depends on how you spend your free time and whether you are participating in study groups. It is your responsibility to form, participate, and document study groups. Soar Seminar 2: Concentration

Now that you have completed the study skills survey. Let's talk a bit about concentration. Read the following article on concentration. Answer the following questions below as a comment. Comment on at least two other's posts:
