Take the following quiz and post a comment with what majors/degrees the quiz matched for you. Does this match what you plan to major in? If not what do you plan on majoring in? How does your personality match your planned major? What do you plan on doing as a career based on your major? Its okay if you are undecided and in between choices. List and talk about all that your thinking about.
The majors/degrees that the quiz matched for me was Business, Sales, Marketing, Management, Leadership, Training, Political Science, or Economics. The degrees did not match what I plan to major in because I want to be a doctor. I plan on majoring in pre-med. Since I want to become a doctor, personality matches my planned major because I am caring, brave, and respectful. I plan on being a OBGYN.
ReplyDeleteMy result showed that I am a realistic person, that I am practical and usually fit. I love to run around the neighborhood and work out, but I’m pretty sure I’m not the most practical person. It said that I would like to work in an outdoor environment, which is true, and that I am naturally a curious person which is also true. The website told me that the best college major choices that would be best fit to my personality was Engineering, Agriculture, Animal Science, Construction, Landscaping, Police work, Fire Science, Drafting, Architecture, and Park Ranger. I want to go into the field of marine biology, and animal science was pretty much dead on.
ReplyDeleteAccording to the quiz, I have a Conventional personality type. Conventional people practical and structured, they are good with math, but they do not always want to work with numbers. The best college major options that fit my personality are teaching, accounting, computers, finance, insurance, research and business. As of right now, I am looking to major in business. So, my personality completely matches my personality major.
ReplyDeleteMy results for my test say I could work in Engineering, Agriculture, Animal Science, Construction, Landscaping, Police work, Fire Science, Drafting, Architecture, Park Ranger. It's says I am the realistic type which I am. Right now and very highly possible in the future I am trying to major in Engineering which was one major that matched my personality. I am trying to become a Biomedical Engineer. My personality matches my planned major pretty well because you need to be realistic if you are in sciences.
ReplyDeleteMy results showed me that I am the social personality type and would make a good teacher. Possible degree programs that my results showed would be Teaching, Ministry, Coaching, Counseling, Nursing, Political Science, Sociology, Anthropology, History, Journalism, Psychology. As far as the teaching goes, that is the last thing I would consider majoring in. But out of the possible degree programs, sociology, counseling, and psychology are the only ones that have sparked my interest at some point. My major of choice as of right now is oncology, or anesthesiology. I plan on getting my doctorates and advancing to a high level. I like working with people, I like to understand people's thoughts and help others over come things. Oncology has always interested me after my dad had cancer and being in the environment.
ReplyDeleteMy results show that I am a social person that means I would be good at Teaching, Ministry, Coaching, Counseling, Nursing, Political Science, Sociology, Anthropology, History, Journalism, and Psychology. I feel like this is partially true I don’t consider myself a sociable person I’m also not standoffish either. I feel like sociology seem very interesting and that’s why I plan on taking a course to learn more about it and see if that’s something i would wan to consider as a career. I have always wanted to be a OBGYN nurse or mid wife but I feel my strengths are not in math and science so I wouldn’t want to go into it if I already know education wise it would be very difficult for me to get to that point. Personality definitely helps determine your career choice and since I am a very generous kind person I think I would make for a good counselor or teacher as well. As of right now however I am very undecided and hope with my next two years at CFCC will help me determine what I want to do career wise.
