Next post your learning style that you were most dominant in and post the tips for learning that the website offered you about your learning style. (If you click on the learning style in the chart it explains this style for you and gives you tips for learning). Lastly, explain how knowing your learning styles will help you personally.
My highest leaening style rsult was bodily-kinesthetic I go a 92% in this catogory. Bodily-kinesthic means that I think in movements, and use self-expression for goals. The website gave me tips for the most affetive ways I would learn, and the one that I liked the most was to "stay active when in situation needed to concentrate." I love doing projects, beacuse I get to learn someting new and create something pretty and fun while I learn. The lowest learning style that I got was logical-mathmatical which by the name I knew why I got the result that I did. I dont like logistics I do like math though, but not mathmatical word problems. I think that it is good to know what kind of learning style is best for you personally because it will help you to study and retain information better. I always knew that I was more of a hands on learner and I've always been like that.

After reviewing my results I have come to a conclusion that I am more of an interpersonal learner. The percentage was seventy-five percent in that learning style category, which was the most dominant. An interpersonal learner is basically someone who learns through social interaction. I learn though active learning, for example tutoring or mentoring. I am only twenty-five percent of a naturalistic learner, which was the least dominant. I am not a Logical-Mathematical or Visual-Spatial learner, with my results turning out to be zero percent in both categories. Bodily-Kinesthetic and Linguistic were both tied with a percentage of fifty percent. Intrapersonal was fifty-six percent. I am not much of musical learner either, with my results turning out to be forty-four percent. My learning styles results will help me personally by helping me to realize the learning techniques that will suit me best. I am now able to use a combinational of all the styles to help me understand and integrate new materials.
ReplyDeleteAfter taking the quiz, three results were tied for first. Linguistic, Visual-Spatial and Bodily-Kinesthetic all came in with a 42%. Musical came in a 38%, Interperson with a 31% and finally, Intrapersonal and Logical-Mathematical both came in with 25%. According to my most dominant learning styles, I learn well by listening, drawing related images to my notes, doing projects and staying active when I am trying to focus. By knowing my learning style, I can apply these tips to my studying habits. The results from these quizzes are fairly accurate. I have realized that I learn better when listening in class. I am able to retain the information better. Knowing this piece of information will motivate me to try and stay focused in class when the teacher is lecturing.
ReplyDeleteMy results after taking the quiz shows that I am a verbal linguistic learner with 67%, which is having the ability to use words effectively for reading, writing, listening, and speaking and having some mathematical intelligence. ReplyDeleteEngage in the Socratic method, digesting information through a question-and-answer exchange, and Hone your native ability to tell a story.For the logical mathematical I was 38%, visual spacial 58%, intrapersonal 81%, musical 25%, bodily kinesthetic 25%, and naturalistic was 0%. Knowing this will help me a lot, since I can kind of see what is the best way for me to learn and study, and using the tips will help me in a major way in giving me other options of ways I can go about the learning type that best fits me.
After taking the quiz my results were linguistic 8%, Logical-Mathematic 38%, Visual-Spatial 33%, Interpersonal 38%, Musical 0%, Bodily-Kinesthetic 0%, Naturalistic 8%. I am more Logical-Mathematic and Interpersonal. The site says for the Logical-Mathematic part to think about what you are learning as a formula or puzzle, ask questions, concentrate on symbols, designs, and words to bridge mathematical and verbal logic, and create an outline to learn better of what I am doing. The Interpersonal one says study alone in a quite comfortable environment, set goals, reflect on what I have learned, connect thing I have just learned and what I have already learned. This will help me know how to study therefore me making better grades.
ReplyDeleteAfter taking my quiz i learned that i was a intrapersonal learner getting a 68% and then 58% on both Linguistic and Bodily-Kinesthetic, 33% on Visual-Spatial, 19% on Logical-Mathematical and 0% Naturalisitc. According to the website someone who is a intrapersonal learner is said to be on the road to achievement, learning, and personal satisfaction. They are connected to who they are and how they feel, and they know their own limits and abilities. They often set goals for themselves, self-manage, and reflect on results. Typically they are good at teaching counseling and working with others. Knowing this about myself opened up more career ideas as well as now knowing how to understand my learning type and how i might function learning wise.
